Testing One Two Spree!
I GUESS MY HOBBY is playing Spider Solitaire. Unless it's more of a vice. I start off with the intention to play one game. Then win one game. Then win a few games in a row. Then hours have passed by.
Spider Solitaire is like my procrastinating: it gets in the way of me doing meaningful things.
Outside of that, I don't really have other hobbies. Just like I have few vices. See, my life revolves around passions and vocations. Writing, painting, dancing, sewing, cooking, philanthropy, et al. I get into something (yes, even a computer card game) and I commit.
Sometimes it is not even my thing, or a thing that would be my first or second choice to do; but I'm sure I mentioned in posts on my blog, Trinbago Come Good, that I am a whole hog advocate of "anything worth doing is worth doing well," or at least to the best of your abilities.
This is my new blog. But it is really a continuation, an adaptation, an evolution of that blog I mentioned earlier. And there are going to be more blogs to follow. I full on intend to go on a blogging spree!
Trinbago Shine On is obviously about my nation Trinidad & Tobago: my love for it, my frustration with it, my fears for it, my beautiful dreams for it.
I want the world to know the wonder of my land, and the truth of it from the perspective of someone who loves it deeply, but sees it clearly by walking a very individual life's road with eyes wide open.
This first post here is really just a test piece, but I promise you I'll be doing my best to come good; so here's to hoping you check in again to see what I'm dishing up. You might like it.
Mm-mm-mmm
